Let the Drama Begin...

Nashville on ABC

Nashville Premieres tonight 10/9c on ABC will y'all be watchin' good ole southern drama... Hey who knows maybe this can come close to GCB (one can only hope)!

"2 Broke for Depth"

After really loving the first season of 2 Broke Girls I was relieved to hear that they were renewed for a second season, however I wondered if they were every really going to launch. The writing is packed full of one like zingers that can keep you laughing at the show in it's entirety but is it all just a superficial comedy to just fill a 17 min nigh time slot with 13 min of commercials. Sofey's sexual innuendos, Max's constant critique of her parental upbringing or lack there of, and Caroline's constant absolute clueless-ness about things a full season into her being "broke", can get old at times. However the show is what it is and maybe this is their extent of substance; which has it's pros and cons. This show unfortunately just got bumped to my "If I Have time and have nothing else to watch" or "I just want a superficial laugh with no substance/ Reality TV" List

Jack's baby, really?!?!

Is it Jack's Baby?

So what are your thoughts on the latest juicy Sunday gossip on revenge? Emily tell Amanda that she fudged the paternity test when the baby really is Jack's... She really is a mastermind at intricate vengeful acts and I love every minute of it. I'm not sure how any one else feels about it, but I hate that the baby is Jack's and what is even funnier is that it isn't because I really want Jack to be with the real Amanda, because truth be told, I much rather Daniel and Emily get back together; but that is neither here nor there. Ooh, and how did you like Victoria letting Conrad beat the living daylights out of her. I honestly couldn't believe that is how she she played that one, just further proving what lengths Victoria will go to. What do you think about the latest discoveries on Revenge?

The 'Revolution' is starting to catch on

Charlie and 'Nate'
First of all, I just want to say how hot 'Nate' and Charlie look, and Billy Burke so happy that we get to see you outside of The Twilight Saga!
Cast of NBC's hit Revolution
Now on to the show, well I am happy to say that NBC has perked my interest for this show during the last episode that aired, "Plague Dogs". (I, purposely, saved a couple of episodes on my DVR and watched the last three episodes back to back that way I stayed interested in keeping my 4-5 episode minimum to be able to dismiss the show.) However, I am happy to report that I will be willingly watching the next episode to see what happens. I don't know how many other people are shocked by this, but in the pilot, I did at first find it strange that they killed off the father but obviously, hindsight is 20/20. So when you consider that Rachel is still out there, alive, it isn't that surprising that the person who new some really valuable information is now dead (I mean isn't that how it's always done). Once again I digress, I was fairly shocked in the last episode that the writers killed of Maggie, to be honest I didn't like her in the pilot but then as we got to know her and how she was a mother not appreciating the small things in life, just running along in a fast paced lifestyle, lost in a world of giving you kids more, even if it means you have to be away; I really felt for her and how terrible it must feel to not ever know what really happened to your kids. Are they alive, dead, how did they die, did they suffer? As a parent your only job is to protect them and be there for them, two things she couldn't do during the blackout.  After realizing she really isn't that bad- she then dies (darn you, writers)! Moving on to the next reason why I will be tuning in next week. Miles and Rachel Matheson have loudly gotten my attention; firstly the mom, Rachel, is alive, and secondly is Monroe really holding her captive or was this a scheme against the father. Like Monroe said, he could have held her in worse conditions than where she is staying. Also, fast forwarding to the end of the episode you find out that Rachel willingly left her family (to go get 'supplies') when summoned by her brother-in-law Miles... That's right I said MILES. Just what is he up to. And although I may not have guessed he would have made it to the position of  Commanding general of the Militia, I am really interested to see just how a Marine Corps Sergeant becomes the Commanding General and his passive aggressive comrade becomes a ruthless militant leader.  Will you be joining me to watch the next episode of NBC's Revolution?

"The Birds"

So what did you think about Sunday's throwback to an Afred Hitchcock cinematic classic? Still a spooky concept for me- birds just going crazy- getting pecked to near death, definitely not a way I want to go. first and foremost I give many props to the musical selection of the opening scene.. the song appropriated titled "You belong to Me", only emphasizes the possession the owner, Gavin Doran, has on his tenants. One thing that I'm sick of seeing is the constant 'publicity', so to speak, of men or women not being able to control themselves and stay faithful. And men wonder why some women are complete cynics on the thought that a man could ever turn down a woman putting herself on that silver platter. Either way, I digress; What are your thoughts on Louise and her adulterer husband? This episodes main focus was on the murmuration of starlings in the walls of The Drake. ::Enter:: kleptomaniac Nona who suggests that Jane doesn't mess with the birds. And who is Nona? Is she a prophet that sees the unfortunate endings of the tenants of The Drake? I guess we shall see with episodes to come. Jane learns more about the building, from the birds to a murder that she psychically dreams about before learning it was real. Did the laundry scene freak anyone else out.. would you have sat up and folded your laundry if you woke up and forgot it? And why did Henry not get up and go get it? All I'm wondering is who put the laundry there? We learn a little bit more about the roll Henry may play for Gavin. At first I was under the impression that Henry would be tricked and seduced into the Dark Side of things but we learn at the end of episode 2 that he could be a "hero" so to speak and is perfect for whatever Gavin is brewing. I hope future episodes delve deeper into some of the supernatural history that The Drake possesses or at least gives us some more background on the tenants and staff of 999 Park Avenue.
